Homeview Windows Capitalising On Solid Roof Trends With LEKA

Reading’s Homeview Windows started working with LEKA Roof Systems over two years ago and installs the LEKA Warm Roof and the LEKA Orangery Roof. Colin Stichbury, Director of Homeview says: “The solid roof market is really picking up and we have three teams of fitters dedicated to installing LEKA roofs.”

Colin commented: “I liked the idea of a product that used GRP not aluminium.” The unique GRP construction of the LEKA Warm Roof and the LEKA Orangery Roof contribute to a wealth of advantages, claims the company. It means no wood worm or moisture absorption, no condensation and no thermal bridging. It also means the roof is exceptionally lightweight, typically weighing within 30-40kg of a traditional glass conservatory roof so in most cases existing conservatory frames are able to take the weight of the new LEKA roofing system without needing additional reinforcement.

As well as offering an innovative construction, Colin says LEKA products are perfect for tapping into today’s design trends. “They are ideal for both retro fit and new build projects,” he says. “The tile effect roof of the LEKA Warm Roof means a conservatory roof replacement can be made to look like a traditional extension while the LEKA Orangery Roof creates a very design-led look.”

Homeview Windows is a family run company based in Earley near Reading with over 30 years’ experience in installing windows, doors, conservatories and replacement roofs.
