With a lightweight, structurally advanced GRP system, lightweight structural external LEKA boards, interior lightweight LEKA sheets, high-grade insulation and lightweight engineered tiles, the LEKA system is built to acknowledge these challenges.

Truly Lightweight

LEKA System Roof Breakdown
LEKA GRP Structure
GRP is used to manufacture the LEKA roofs ring beam, rafters and ridge because it has an exceptionally high strength to weight ratio and high flexural strength.
GRP never corrodes, it is impervious to common chemicals, greases and oils, it is non-conductive, non-sparking, and non-shrinking. Industry leading, PATENTED and protected, LEKA strive to maintain high standards and provide customers with a better solution for their needs.
LEKA Boards & Insulation
The LEKA roof internal boards are one third of the weight of plasterboard and external LEKA sheets that are stronger and lighter than plywood or OSB timber. PIR insulation sheets are installed on top of the internal LEKA boards with a 15mm gap. This creates a warm air barrier to guarantee thermal efficiency. The PIR sheets, internal and external LEKA boards are lightweight, water proof, weather proof and insulated.

Engineered Tiles
Extensive engineering time goes into developing the LEKA lightweight tiled conservatory roof and completing the market leading system, the solution required engineered tiles, which are strong, durable and available in a wide range of different colours.
Our partners offer a range of tiles, including Metrotile, Britmet & Tapco options which mimic slate & concrete examples. These are lighter than real concrete or slate tiles but just as durable. They are suitable for low roof pitches and importantly, they look authentic and offer a close match to the existing roof on most homes for aesthetic continuity.
